BLUEGRASS MEETS BOLERO

The Great Aunt Stella Center, 926 Elizabeth Avenue, Charlotte, NC

Musical sparks will fly when Los Morales meet the bluegrass trio led by Charlotte fiddler Glen Alexander, winner at the prestigious Galax festival in 2012.   Mark your calendar for Friday April 12 at the historic Great Aunt Stella Center, 926 Elizabeth Avenue in Charlotte.   Bluegrass meets Bolero is organized by Charlotte Folk Society in partnership with Levine Museum of the New South.  The Museum's staff historian Tom Hanchett will host the evening.  It's part of the monthly Gathering series presented by CFS at the Great Aunt Stella, a beautifully restored century-old church that reminds concert-goers of the Grand Ol' Opry's Ryman Auditorium.  Impromptu singing and jam sessions usually follow the performances and there are always free refreshments.

Doors open at 7pm, concert starts at 7:30pm.  It's all free and open to the public, with free parking.  More Info www.folksociety.org   704.372.FOLK
